Our magnificent seven

The University of the Sunshine Coast’s Paralympic swimming team, in an unprecedented outcome, all qualified for the Australian team.

We needed to celebrate that.

We produced a cinema spot was run parallel to the film Magnificent Seven.

Sunny the Spartan

We wanted the whole swim team to have a piece of home so we created as mascot. Along with a small team of craft-workers I made a dozen plush Sunnys. This served as a tool to connect social posts from the swimmers and a character to follow on the journey.
